The latest version of our ever popular gear indicator. This new version incorporates a gearbox oil temperature indicator when connected to a standard Bosch Motorsport temperature sensor. It also features an alarm function when the oil temperature exceeds a programmable threshold.
The TFT-GPI indicator is fully programmable using an intuitive on-screen menu. Any gear order can be catered for, such as RN123, 1N23, N123, R1N23 etc. and up to 7 forward gears can be accommodated.
We can also offer an upgrade to transform the gear indicator into a fully functional mini-dash. The display hardware includes a CANbus port to allow communication with most aftermarket engine management systems. This allows the display of all common engine parameters by a simple page scroll function. Furthermore, future development will see the inclusion of a fully closed-loop 'flatshift' function that can trigger either from an external load cell sensor or from the existing gear position sensor.
We currently have a library of 21 common aftermarket engine ECU types, selectable from the on-screen menu. Simply select your ECU from the list and then choose which channels to display. Available channels (when supported by your ECU) are as follows: RPM, TPS, coolant temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel pressure, manifold pressure, battery voltage, lambda, gear position.
